Clinical evaluation before admission is part of how Mind-U determines the right level of care for each person.

This depends on the program. In the 35-day intensive program, there are no visits and no family therapy sessions at all — it's built as a fully immersive stabilization window. In 90-day programs and longer, the first month is focused on detox, stabilization, and diagnosis, with no visits or phone calls — but the clinical team keeps the family updated throughout, including photos and videos. Starting in the second month, families can have a visit and/or call once a week, usually on Saturdays, with flexibility when a family genuinely can't make that day. Visit timing can shift if it isn't the right moment for the patient's process — the clinical team makes that call based on where the patient is that week. Families who can't attend in person can join live every Saturday for a family group session, a psychoeducational session designed to help families understand what their loved one is going through and build a stronger relationship for after treatment. Families also have an individual session with a psychologist every two weeks, focused specifically on their situation and on building mutual understanding between patient and family.

Relapse risk exists with any condition, which is why Mind-U's approach continues to address the underlying psychiatric condition throughout treatment, building the clinical foundation for long-term stability rather than treating the program as a one-time fix.
